Welcome to the Cybersecurity Association, also known as cybersecurity.org. The Cybersecurity Association intends to be the international trade association for manufacturers in a wide variety of cybersecurity markets such as network access controllers (NACs) and firewalls.
The primary purposes of the Cybersecurity Association are to certify the value of the products of its members using verifiable testing procedures, and to help promote the products of its members to the press and to potential customers. We are not a standards-making body; instead, our tests reflect the real-world security needs of organizations of all sizes as well as individual users.
The Cybersecurity Association testing program assures customers that the products that they buy have the security features that the vendors say they do. Our rigorous testing procedures are completely open, thereby assuring both our members and their customers that the testing is done fairly and impartially.
The Cybersecurity Association certified logo signifies that a product matches the vendor's promises. Because it is difficult to find all of a product's features listed in one place, each product tested by the Cybersecurity Association has its own page listing all of the certified features.
In the near future, the Cybersecurity Association will begin testing network access control (NAC) devices for their capabilities. The logos will represent very complete tests based on the many capabilities of these devices, and will be backed by proof of testing for all features. NAC vendors will be able to show potential customers that their products have the network access features they claim, and potential customers will be able to see that the products that they are interested in will perform as specified.
If you are a NAC vendor interested in our program, please feel free to contact us.
